FocusWorks Marketing: our position on AI writing

We know that AI has shaken things up for writers. We’re right there with you—wrangling with the time-saving benefits while pushing back against the de-personalized, over-generification of content. 

We recognize that digital marketing agencies vary in their approach, so we’ll lay ours out so we’re all on the same page. 

All content we receive must pass an AI check via a well-vetted tool we use. In other words, we will not accept pieces that have any AI content. We’re happy to discuss our process and stance further, but we take our responsibility to our clients seriously and we do not compromise on quality. 

(Use AI for ideation, research, or getting unstuck on a sentence? That’s okay. This policy is about what we receive in contractor drafts!)
